The New York Times

For this exercise, we used The New York Times data for Covid-19 in the United States, which can be found here. First, I tried to recreate the visualization found on the newspaper’s website using Tableau. The graph shows a 7-day average for new coronavirus cases reported across the country. Following this, I used a map to depict the total number of cases between January, 2021 and October, 2021 for each state. Finally, I brought both the visualizations together to form a dashboard, Visualizing Covid-19 in the United States.
